Image
Here we can see some photos of activities developed during the meeting  (LTTA training in Gdansk, Poland).  . This is adult education through art! What arts can we identify here? What was your favorite? Which one was the biggest challenge to achieve? What new skills have been acquired? Which one promoted inclusion the most? Which of these art activities should be adopted in adult education as good practice?

Be like a Sunflower!

Image
For the second LTTA of the Move-On project, the portuguese team prepared a simple gift for all participants, but with a deep meaning. The creative women representing CFPIMM were Lourdes, Elisa and Filomena, and they worked hard! First we chose some logs that were cut in our carpentry workshop (lemon wood and laurel wood). Then it was necessary to sand the surface and cover all imperfections. So, we draw a sunflower using the stencil technique. And we started the great task of painting these pieces of art... It looked like a big industry! Finally, we made the golden outline.... And we wrote the most important word of our project (shine!) and applied a layer of varnish. So, we went to Poland full of shine!!!!!!! And we offer it to everyone so they can be like a sunflower!!

Apply other layers of paint to create nuances. 6th - Carefully remove the stencil, dry it and start making a new season. In the end, you can make a background with paint and the help of a toothbrush to hide some imperfections. To think a little ... All students used the same image to create their own stencil but did different jobs. It was interesting to think about the characteristics of each season, adjust the colors and their layout on the sheet. The students
